I have a network setup here with five subnets interconnected by two Linux systems. One system has four NE-2000 clone boards (yes, I found enough interrupts) and the other has two SMC Ultra boards. I downloaded the mrouted-3.81 binary from "ftp.phys.ualberta.ca/pub/linux", and loaded it on both systems. At this point, there are no tunnels leading off site.

At first, everything seemed to work fine. "mrinfo" would see the interfaces and the communications between the two mrouted systems. Unfortunately, when I started trying out "map-mbone" and "mtrace" the trouble started. Sometimes the command would work fine, but other times one of the machines would generate the following error:

	Kernel panic: skput:over 006d4aec:28

After this error occurs, the machine refuses to accept any new input, neither from the console nor over the network. I've tested this with kernels 1.3.66 and 1.3.67 with the same results on both.
