Hello,

just in the moment I have uploaded a new BETA Release of the net-tools
Package. It is called net-tools-1.3.50-BETA6f.tar.gz

NET-TOOLS A collection of programs that form the base set of the
NET-3 Networking Distribution for the LINUX operating
              system.

Package includes the important Tools for Controling the net-subsystem of
the Linux-Kernel. This includes arp, hostname, ifconfig, ipfw, netstat,
rarp and route. The commands can be compiled with NLS to support different
Languages.

The net-tools should run with recent kernels. If you can compile the
Binaries with 1.3.x Kernels, you should be able to use them with 1.2.x.
ipfw does currently NOT support 1.3.61++ and the 1.3.x Binaries will NOT run
on 1.2.x Kernels.

You can find this Release currently in the testing/ subdir of the FTP
archive. I will use them to replace BETA5 (which is outdated), if I dont
receive serious Bug-Reports. If you want to have a stable release wait
until I move the net-tools out of the testing subdir. (But I think they
should be fine right now).
