how so? if they have domain names (i.e. ppp01.basenet.com, ppp02, ppp03,
etc), why would they be useless? I dont understand your reasoning. how can a
dynamic IP make services useless?? an IP with no reverse dns can do that,
but there is no technical difference between a dynamic and static IP other
than the problems it presents for people who want to do #2 below, but for
those cases Ill give static IP's.. but joe-blow doesnt need nor even
understand static vs. dynamic..

Well, that is what I said in my previous post, if they need a static IP for
something like that, they can have one, but WHY would I give EVERYONE a
static IP when there is no reason for it.
