rlogin doesn't obey rhosts...

I'm trying to use rlogin to enter in another machine. I included the
calling machine in my .rhosts, but it still asks for the passwd. I
tried both the hostname and FQDN. I put the calling machine in
/etc/hosts. What could be the problem? I'm trying to log in from
another city.
