Address negotiation is part of PPP. In other words, as long as you have
the `defaultroute' argument in your ppp-options (or are calling it from
the command line), you shouldn't have to worry about what your IP address
is. If you want to see what your address is on that interface, `ifconfig'
after the connection is up.
