                                              MacOS: waters

OK!, you see the physical setup, now the software!
To be quick: Windowze and MacOS use their integrated TCP/IP
software. They point to mercury as a gateway. I have no DNS setup, but =
on
those two machine I set up the one of my service provider. Now, the lin=
ux
box (mercury) had it's kernel recompiled with IP forwarding. I use slip=
 &
dip to connect to my ISP, and all goes well. I can use mercury to brows=
e on
the Net.
THE PROBLEM:
Since all of these computers are spread out on several floors of a buil=
ding,
I want to give them access to Internet. As of now they can only login t=
o
mercury via telnet, and use ftp or mail, but that's all. With my actual
setup, when mercury is connected I can send request from the Win & Mac =
to
Internet. But since my internet provider only gave me one dynamic adres=
se,
all respons gets stopped on mercury. Question: Can I make a script to t=
ell
at a certain time mercury to forword incomming packets from sl0 too one=
 of
the machines ? Do I need anything more for forwarding those packets ???

Please give me a hand, I can't spend one more night at testing =
the
system!
