Hi all,

I've noticed that, on resolving hostnames for things like a web browser and
irc, timeouts seem to take forever. Is there someplace in the resolver that
can be tweaked? Is there some sort of variable for this? I'm not running a
local nameserver.

Any assistance, on or off the list, would be greatly appreciated....

lilo <tardis@mail.utexas.edu>, not the above bogus address....
