I have a disk on a Linux PC NFS mounted on some Sun and SGI machines, and I'm
having a problem locking files with gdbm on that disk. It seems that Linux
doesn't have any support for the lockd protocol. I'm using Slackware 3.0 on the
Linux machine. Is there a lockd daemon that I could install that would fix this.
I've searched through the HowTo and can't find any refrences to lockd for Linux.
Please reply to webbb@aries.tucson.saic.com. I'm not subscribed to the linux-net
list.
Thanks for your help,
