I am told that there is a 3.5Beta2 release of gated at Merit but I
cannot connect to down-load it for Linux testing. (I cannot even ping
the site so I have no idea what is wrong)
GNU sed V3.0 is now available together with a new rex library.
Unfortunately, it does not overcome the problems experienced with V2
when configuring gated makefiles.
I'm sure it works; but only if you have a _lot_ more real/virtual
memory than I have.
Sigh... back to V1.18
