I've hacked an older version of gated to use temporary files instead of
the memorywasting sed-pipe thing. Using sed 2.05 I can now configure
gated on a 8mb Linux machine with low diskactivity. If someone is interested
in my patches or maybe even putting them into the official distribution
please drop me mail at linux@uni-koblenz.de.
