Hello,

I am desperatly trying to figure out how to use "pppd" or a comparable
package with the popular client BOOTP services. I'm trying to do PPP
serving and not connect as a client. I've been able to get it all to
work, but I can not figure out how to tell pppd to transfer its address
to the client end and do dynamic IP addressing.

I have been successful in the past with CSLIP, because I've made up a
custom script which parses the IP out of the login procedure. However I
know that PPP protocol supports the BOOTP process and was just wondering
if this is implimented with Linux, and if so how.

  I'm running ppp212b, kernel 1.2.10, Slackware

Any help would be greatly appreciated,
