I also had problems with UNIX datagram sockets using kernel 1.2.x. When I
upgraded to 1.3.27 , everthing started working (netstat is still broke
though). Looking back though the kernel changes (russ nelson) it seems
UNIX datagram sockets did not work until 1.3.??. I dont remember when
they started working, you will have to look your self. I am now using
1.3.32 and everything works very well. Stay away from 1.3.27 - 1.3.29
I had other problems not related to UNIX sockets but lots of seemingly
random crashes.
