I have compiled smbfs under 1.1.95 but I'm having problems mounting a
drive my NT 3.5 server is sharing. The docs in smbfs don't give any
examples of the parameters, especialy the 'service' one.
My Linux machine is called xanax and my NT machine is called grunge. When
I try;
muserfs smbfs /mnt grunge ?service? <passwords etc>
I get various error messages depending on the service parameter but
nothing that gives me any hints as to what it should be, it doesn't seem
to be the share name. The share on grunge is called \\GRUNGE\files and is
public, my OS/2 machine has no problem using it.
Does anyone have succesful experience with smbfs and could give me some
examples for the parameters?
Regards,
Trevor
