I've been reporting a sudden rash of kernel panics on our backup system.
It seemed like they were related to the addition of a FreeBSD system, but
today's news is that the FreeBSD system has been exonerated. It was not
connected last night, but the system paniced anyway. Although the time
and circumstances did not fit into the pattern that had been emerging.

In a sense this is a relief, but it leaves me with fewer paths to investigate.

Since these oopses started suddenly and have happened almost every day and
did not go away with the reinstallation of the system software, I guess
I have to investigate the possibility that it's the hardware.

Anyway, in case anyone wants to look at it, here's this morning's oops
and the output of ksymoops. As before, 18db2bc0 is the IP address of the
machine itself. In this case, it was backing up itself via a looped back
rsh when the oops happened.
