UDP: bad checksums when using multicast

Watching the Shuttle stuff this week, I noticed something that was happening a
while back, that is apparently still present in 1.3.27 (if it is, in fact, a
kernel problem and not a app problem).
I get these quite frequently whenever I'm running the Linux bins for nv/vat.
Those are really the only multicast apps I use (besides sd), but I'd be willing
to run some other stuff to test this if need be.
Is this truly a kernel problem, or just a problem with nv/vat, or maybe even a
problem on our net?
Any help appriciated.
