Followups to linux-isdn please since I can't figure how to set 'reply to'.

I am working with Joel Katz (Stimpson@Panix.COM) and S.S.C. in developing
a complete package to use the Combinet EVERYWARE (TM) 1000 series ISDN
boards under linux.

I have succeeded in getting the board, drivers, and line configured but have
reached a small impass. The board does not appear as a single device
like a 'common' modem but as two devices. A serial one for control /
config and as a eth? for data. I can get the board to dial fine and
connect but after that, I can't get any further in the connection process
(such as getting a a login prompt or the like).

Questions.

Should I have a 2nd copy of a terminal program hooked up to the correct
eth. Or can I use a modified version of pppd to monitor it? Or can I use
getty to monitor it? The ISP that I am working with uses a commercial
type switch / modem so they have it set up to support dynamic ppp
connecttions controlled through dip. They have other isdn users but they
don't use the COMBINET.

Anyone got any ideas?
