I just joined!
I'm looking for information on the IPIP or IP tunnelling package.
Specifically:
What is the user interface? How is it set up? It appears that some
ioctl()s are necessary to configure it, but there are no user
programs.
Encryption: this would be the answer to (one of) my dreams if I could
make a secure tunnel between home and work. Any info?
IPX: anybody working on tunneling IPX over IP? My company has a
Novell server and it would be nice if I could get to it from either
Windows or a dosemu at home. The Novell administrators at my job are
clods, so I want to be able to do it without hacking the server (they
won't let me near it, despite the fact that I used to be its
administrator) or trying to explain TCP/IP to them (again!).
In general: there's a whole bunch of new networking stuff in the
kernel, with a dearth of docs. Any good pointers?
Thanks!
