ext2ed is an extended-2 filesystem editor.
Its aim is to show you the various internal filesystem structures in an
intuitive form so that you would be able to easily understand and modify
them.
I uploaded ext2ed to sunsite.unc.edu.
It is currently available in /pub/Linux/Incoming and will be moved to
/pub/Linux/system/Filesystems/ext2/ext2ed-0.1.tar.gz.
In addition, it is available at:
ftp://tochnapc2.technion.ac.il/pub/ext2ed/ext2ed-0.1.tar.gz
As a part of ext2ed's documentation, I wrote a small article which
presents an overview of the technical layout of the ext2 filesystem. It
is also available separately as Ext2fs-overview-0.1.ps.gz in the same
directory.
