SALT LAKE CITY Parents say about 50 elementary students in Salt
Lake City had their school lunches thrown out because money was owed
on their food accounts. The lunches costing about $3 were taken from the
children on Tuesday as they arrived at a pay station after cafeteria
workers had given them the food.Parent Erica Lukes said the action was
humiliating and demoralizing for students. The Salt Lake City School District
said the move came after it realized a lot of students at
Uintah (Yoo-IN-tah) Elementary owed money for previous lunches.District
spokesman Jason Olsen said cafeteria servers were not able to see who
was in debt until lunches had already been given to students in
line.He said the lunches were thrown out because they couldn't be served
to another student. Students whose lunches were taken away were given fruit
and milk.
 Committee even
reneged on a deal to provide banners for towns in the area.East
Rutherford had even installed the brackets [to hoist the banners], but they
were simply never delivered," Simoncini said. "The town wasnt even contacted
about them not showing up.Theyve [NFL] embittered a region, he said. This
is a culture clash and unfortunately, sometimes people just cant get along.Even
without help from the NFL, East Rutherford is doing what it can
to cash in on a once in a lifetime event. With tailgating
outside of MetLife Stadiumbanned, the town's block party will offer the
closest pre-game festivities.Casella took it upon himself to have a sign
installed at the train station in town boasting East Rutherford status as
the Home of the Super Bowl. The NFL responded to FoxNews.com queries with
a statement outlining its policy about towns like East Rutherford and what
it is presumably allowed to refer to as "the really big game.""In
order to best control the use of our [trade]marks in connection with
the Super Bowl, we do not allow host cities to use the
Super Bowl marks for commercial purposes (e.g. sponsored SB events, parties),"
the statement read. "It is part of our general control of trademark
usage and our desire to protect messaging around the game and avoid
conflicts."Organizers for East Rutherford's party say they don't need the
NFL's permission to put on a party. At the end of the day,
the event will be a success, Simoncini boaste

<p style="font-size:xx-small;">n Emily, who lives in Indiana. She
was prescribed generic Xanax at age 25, a few months after she'd
had a baby. She was filled with anxiety, often irrational."I worried that
someone would feed her something she might choke on," she recalled. When
the drug didn't help and she became desperate, she admitted herself to
a psychiatric ward; during the week she was there, relatives cared for
her little girl.Emily was taken off alprazolam and put on the generic
form of Klonopin, which is slower-acting. After being released, she followed
up with her doctor, who continued her on that drug, but Emily
didn't feel much better on it. Her anxiety attacks persisted."Every day
was a struggle," she said. After several months, she started looking for
other doctors to get her off the pills. One wanted her to
go cold turkey, but she'd been reading up online and knew the
dangers of benzo withdrawal."Once you've been on Xanax or similar drugs
for a month or more, you may need to taper off them
gradually," Birndorf explained.Tapering is a stepladder approach that involves
slowly decreasing your dose by tiny increments. It may also include switching
from a faster-acting benzo like Xanax to a slower one, such as
Klonopin, as the hospital had Emily do."If you've been on a high
dose for years, tapering from benzos can possibly take much longer than
with other drugs, like SSRIsmaybe even a full year," Birndorf said.Sometimes,
she points out, patients don't comply
NEW YORK It's puppy love for the record books. The Labrador
retriever was the nation's most popular dog breed last year for a
23rd year in a row.The American Kennel Club said Friday that's the
longest that any breed has been top dog since the organization's founding
in 1884.German shepherds, golden retrievers, beagles and bulldogs are holding
steady in the top-five pack. Yorkshire terriers, boxers, poodles, Rottweilers
and dachshunds round out the leading 10. It's the same as last
year. But the French bulldog is newly on their heels. It's now the
11th most popular purebred. That's up from 14th last year
and 58th in 2002.The poodle had a 22-year reign as number 1
some decades ago.The rankings reflect newly registered dogs, mostly puppies.
