There is now a beta version of Xgmod available. Xgmod is basically gmod with
an X interface. As of this date, I am not making it available by ftp, and
it is being distributed in binary form only (no source). This is because
it is still beta and the code is a mess. Once the code is cleaned up, I
will make it publicly available by ftp.
If you would like to try the beta version of Xgmod, send me email. My
address is robinson@cnj.digex.net. I will try to send you a uuencoded copy.
To use Xgmod, you will need:
XFree 3.1
libc 4.6.27 (or a newer minor version)
Recent "pre-3.0" (or newer) VoxKit drivers. These drivers are NOT the ones
currently included with the kernel. The recent "pre-3.0" drivers have
a nonblocking mode that is necessary for Xgmod to work. Don't even bother to
try it with earlier versions.
NOTE: IF YOU RECEIVE A COPY OF GMOD, YOU MAY DISTRIBUTE IT TO OTHERS, BUT YOU
MUST NOT MAKE IT AVAILABLE BY FTP OR IN ANY OTHER ARCHIVES.
