HagertyHagertyHagertyHagertyHagertyCertain cars just wont recede into the
automotive fossil record. Designers (particularly those from their company
of origin) keep going back to the well. And why not? Its
almost impossible to top the cars on this list:HagertyThe gorgeous Toyota
2000 GT sports car was a giant commercial flop when it was
introduced. The status of Japanese cars in the U.S. market at the
time was roughly the equivalent of Korean cars about 15 years ago,
and a Japanese car that cost more than a Jaguar E-Type, a
Corvette or a Porsche 911 found few takers. Just over 300 were
built and the models failure continues to haunt Toyota. The roofline and
greenhouse of the 1967 2000GT show up almost unaltered in the latest
Toyota sports car concept, the FT-1. Incidentally, Toyota has probably had
the last laugh here as the 2000 GT is now the only
Japanese collectible car worth $1 million.HagertyThe 67 Eldorado is one
of the great overlooked post-war American classics. A Bill Mitchell design
triumph, its an ageless design that wouldnt look out of place in
a showroom today, particularly since Cadillac continues to revisit the 67
Eldo rear end, one of the greatest -views of all time.HagertyThe original
Jeep CJ may well be the most knocked-off vehicle of all time,
inspiring the likes of the Toyota FJ40 Land Cruiser, Nissan Patrol, Suzuki
Samurai, etc., not to mention, of course, the current Jeep Wrangler.HagertyThe
E-Type was one of the
onfronting hopelessness."You see troubled young men
who are desperate and they strike out and they don't see that
they have any hope," Bond said.Schools generally are much safer than they
were five, 10 or 15 years ago, Stephens said. Stephens noted that
perspective is important. In Chicago there were 500 homicides in 2012, about
the same number in the nation's 132,000-plus K-12 schools over two decades."I
believe schools are much safer than they used to be but clearly
they still have a good ways to go," Stephens said. The recent budget
deal in Congress provides $140 million to support safe school environments,
and is a $29 million increase, according to the office of Democratic
Sen. Tom Harkin, chairman of the Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions
Committee.About 90 percent of districts have tightened security since the
shootings at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Connecticut, estimates Randi
Weingarten, the president of the American Federation of Teachers. Many schools
now have elaborate school safety plans and more metal detectors, surveillance
cameras and fences. They've taken other steps, too, such as requiring ID
badges and dress codes. Similar to fire drills, some schools practice locking
down classrooms, among their responses to potential violence.Weingarten
said more emphasis needs to be placed on improving school cultures by
ensuring schools have resources for counselors, social workers and after-care
programs. Many of the

<p style="font-size:xx-small;">e 1973, when abortion
was legalized nationwide, that Guttmacher has attempted to survey all known
abortion providers in the U.S. However, a section of the new report
acknowledges that some abortions might not be tallied. The highest abortion
rates were in New York, Maryland, the District of Columbia, Delaware and
New Jersey; the lowest were in Wyoming, Mississippi, South Dakota, Kentucky
and Missouri. However, Guttmacher said many women in Wyoming and Mississippi,
where providers are scarce, go out of state to get abortions.
Ravijourmovie/YoutubeWell, the Japanese have done it again. Apparently this
tech-laden bra made by the lingerie company Ravijour will only unhook for
"true love."The "True Love Tester" bra can't be masterfully unhooked by
some skeevy player who hit on the wearer at a club. No,
this bra only comes undone when sensors embedded inside it that are
connected wirelessly to a smartphone app detect a particular heart rate
(video, safe for work).According to the Victoria's Secret-like company that
made the bra, Ravijour, a particular heart rate over time indicates "love."
And what do you know, they even have a graph comparing the
effects of jogging, shopping, eating spicy food and watching a horror movie
with "flirting" and "surprise gift" on a lady's heart. What better way
to acknowledge being "in love" than having your glittery bra fly open?Ravijour's
slogan is "We do anything for women." Apparently they do anything to
free the girls, too.Might not want to wear this thing around in
public, though. The dude-designed bra cups pop open pretty dramatically.
