Recently, I tried to find out where to get ce for linux, but no one knew.
I finally found the ETG email address (ETG makes ce) and they pointed me
in the right direction. I was asked to post this here by ETG (they don't
have Usenet access ;-).

If you're looking for an easy-to-use, powerful, easy-to-administer editor
for linux, consider ce. ce is a commercial UN*X editor made by ETG.
They felt that since linux is free, ce for linux should also be free. As
a result, you can get a fine, commercial-quality editor for the price of
a download ;-). To obtain ce, just ftp to

ftp.std.com

and then

cd /ftp/vendors/ETG

In this directory, you'll find ce for many platforms. The linux version
is free, but all the others are time-limited fully functioning demos.
Check it out if you're looking for an editor.

If you have questions/problems, ETG can be reached by email at

arpus@etginc.com
