<p style="font-size:xx-small;">PepsiCoAPReutersPepsiCoAPFlickr/LynnetteDiving into the world of Pepsi is
a difficult one what was once a simple drink is now
an entire corporation that owns multiple other brands. You may have had
no idea that Tropicana is actually a product of PepsiCo (so are
IZZE, Propel, Naked Juice, Mountain Dew, Sierra Mist the list goes on!)
and that every time you purchase a Frito-Lay product, youre actually buying
a PepsiCo product. Thats right, we could go on and on about
all the different products that Pepsi owns the list is seemingly
endless. The company was first started in 1898 by a North Carolina pharmacist
named Caleb Bradham. Since then, it has grown into a multibillion dollar
brand. And one that's not without its scandals.Among many other things,
PepsiCo is well known for some of the more shocking commercials that
have been aired during the Super Bowl throughout the years, including one
that featured a scantily clad Britney Spears. Then there's the mishap when
Michael Jackson was severely burned filming one of his famous Pepsi commercials
in 1984. And recent reports show that the company is actually losing
money, as America's soda consumption declines.Regardless of all the ups
and downs that Pepsi has faced along its long and winding road,
the brand has to be doing something right because theyre still doing
well up against top competitors like Coca-Cola. We even did a taste
test that compared the two products against one another, whic
A US Airways Express flight from Philadelphia to Long Island was canceled
Wednesday night after passengers rallied behind a blind man who was removed
from the flight after his service dog became restless.Albert Rizzi said
the argument began when a crew member told him to put his
service dog under the seat in front of him as they waited
for the US Airways Express flight to leave Philadelphia International Airport
for the airport in Ronkonkoma, N.Y.Rizzi, who is legally blind, told MyFoxTwinCities.com
that the flight attendant became aggressive after noticing his service dog,
Doxy, laying in the aisle. He said the dog became restless after 45
minutes on the tarmac."The flight attendant comes over and says, 'I need
you to get that dog stowed again,'" Rizzi told the station. "She
comes back and gets in my face again. 'I told you that
dog needs to be under a seat or we are not taking
off.'"Flight attendants described the dog as agitated and expressed concern
that Rizzi was not controlling it, airline spokeswoman Liz Landau told The
Associated Press.Rizzi became verbally abusive, and the crew decided to
remove him, Landau said. That decision caused some of the other 33
travelers to become upset, she said, and the flight was canceled. US
Airways then arranged for a bus to drive passengers to Long Island."My
comfort level with my blindness was totally rocked," Rizzi said. "I felt
like a useless, unappreciated loser." One passenger told MyFoxTwin
