I have just uploaded Version 1.1 of KBACKUP to sunsite.unc.ed=

Incoming directory.
It should soon appear in /pub/Linux/system/Backup/KBackup11.t=
gz.
KBackup is a powerful yet user-friendy backup system, fully c=
ompatible
with tar(1) of afio(1).
Among the many features included are:
=09- floppy and tape support
=09- user-friendly menu-controlled operation
=09- afio or tar format (get afio from /pub/Linux/system/Back=
up/...)
=09- optional compression
=09- quick tape archive directory access
=09- automatic detection of archive format
=09- double buffering for tapes
=09- high density floppy formats
=09- optional public key encryption using pgp(1)
=09- ....many many more

=09Oh, restoring an archive just requires few keystrokes. The=
same
=09is valid for creating backups.
NOTE: The previously uploaded version 1.0 (kbackup10.tgz) was=
containing
a dangerous bug, a fixed reuploaded archive was broken. Versi=
on 1.1
fixes all known bugs and should be used instead.
