The Southern Illinois Linux Users Group will be having its semi-annual
"big meeting" on Monday, August 21st at 6 pm in Room C110 (Dining Room
Annex) at John A. Logan College in Carterville.
============ BIG PRIZES ============
There will be no less than 4 drawings for various Linux-related
prizes. One Slackware CD-ROM from ADRAS Computing will be given away
as a "door prize". The following will be given away to members(*) of
the users group:
* Yggdrasil's 5 CD Linux Internet Archives set
* Caldera Network Desktop Preview
* Yggdrasil's Linux Bible
In addition to the drawings, the meeting will feature the following:
* Introduction to Linux
* Installing Linux (complete with demonstration)
* Linux-related product information and demonstrations
* Other things I haven't decided on yet... ;-)
Like every meeting, there will be an open question and answer session.
