For various reasons the ftp.linux.org.uk archive name will be moving to point
to a new site. This is zen.btc.uwe.ac.uk, a very well arranged and properly
managed Linux archive that now has all the old ftp.linux.org.uk material on it.
Zen is better managed, is a Linux box and isnt likely to get involved in the
duracell fracas. Its also totally underused for what it holds so I think we
will all benefit from the change.
People who mirror the ftp.linux.org.uk/sunacm.swan.ac.uk site should note this
change and adjust appropriately. sunacm will continue to provide computer
society toys, copies of principia discordia and other random junk, but not
the Linux material.
The domain name will point to the new address in about 1 week so
