controversy often follows. Although tweet discussions range in content and
frequency, there's never a lack of debate.Fernandez, who almost never gives

followers, to have a direct connection to the people.There was that time
when she sent more than 60 tweets in a single day after
a wide protest by thousands of Argentines critical of her government. Or
the many times she has attacked her political opponents and media outlets,
accusing them of twisting the truth and defaming her.Then, there are lighter
Tweets: pictures with Pope Francis, a boxing champion, and her dogs. Or
her recounting of casual conversations with Argentines on the road, the
birth of her grandson, and even her musings over her favorite TV
show."I'm a fan of the series Games of Thrones. I love it,"
Fernandez tweeted on April 28."When the DirecTV people came to see me
to announce some investments I asked them if they could please get
me season three ... I'm sure that tomorrow someone from the opposition
will denounce me for asking and receiving gifts."In a major departure from
Fidel Castro's four-hour speeches, Twitter's 140 characters or less have
become a leading communication tool for presidents throughout Latin America.An

take one major concern from their minds." His funeral "should not be
morbid or sad, but a gathering to enjoy and celebrate life and

clubs are known for staging unusual promotions and giveaways to draw fans
out to the ballpark. But the Philadelphia Phillies' top farm club took
giveaways to a whole new level on Tuesday, awarding a free funeral
to a fan recently diagnosed with ALS.Steve Paul, 64, of Freemansburg, Pa.
got a standing ovation as he was wheeled onto the field at
Coca-Cola Park in Allentown and announced as the recipient of a funeral
package from the Lehigh Valley IronPigs. The package includes a casket,
a choice of embalming or cremation, hearse, headstone, flowers and a funeral
or memorial service. The total value of the items involved: nearly $10,000.Kevin
Reichel, who owns Reichel Funeral Home in nearby Northampton, Pa., told
MyFoxPhilly.com he was initially hesitant about such a seemingly morbid
giveaway at a family event. However, he soon changed his mind."A baseball
game is a family setting and I think if you are going
to talk about your funeral or anything important in life, the first
people you turn to are family," Re

that night if we didn't get them, Ford said in an interview
with the Australian Associated Press.Peter Lane told Australian media there
was no explanation for his son's death."It is heartless and to try
to understand it is a short way to insanity," he said.The mother
of the 16-year-old accused in the killing said her son and his
two friends were part of a wannabe gang, but insisted that he
is not a killer, KOCO reports.The father of the 15-year-old also denied
his son had a role in Lanes death, but said the boy
had run-ins with the law before, News.com.au reports.On Tuesday, Lane's
girlfriend, Sarah Harper, laid a wooden cross at a memorial that formed
along the road where Duncan was killed."We just thought we'd leave it,"
Harper said. "This is his final spot."
