I am happy to announce Linux Omen Reader (LORE) version 0.65.
This is it's first public release.
I What is OMEN
================
OMEN (Off-line Message Environment) is off-line format like QWK. Omen is
much more flexible than QWK and it hasn't QWK's stupid limit of size
of subject.
II What is LORE
===============
LORE is omen-reader - full featured off-line reader. LORE uses ANSI
compatible color terminal (looks very good) or VT-100 compatible B/W
terminal.
LORE has pull down menus and keyboard-commands for advanced use. It
has automatic compiling/installation script, and it has setup-dialogs,
so user don't have to edit configuration files manually.
Before you compile LORE you can make changes to lore.h. These include
colors of different objects and limits of messages/skip lists. This allow
bigger message packets than OMEN standard...
Lore is licensed under GNU General Public License version 2.
III Miscellaneous
=================
If you need some feature, just contact author, and I will add it to next
release of LORE (if I have time and interest to do that).
Also all bug reports/bug fixes/port wishes are welcome.
