Here are the details of our first LUG meeting !!!
Poeple in Western Mass. or wherever else are welcome
to join.
Date: August 2, 1995
Time: 7:15PM - 10:00PM
We can move the meeting elsewhere after that
Location: Phalanx Room
RPI Pub, Troy, NY.
Directions:
>From the East

OK, from I-90 you want I-787 North, just before you get to Albany.
>From 787, you want 7 East (Troy) - there is no exit number, unfortunately.
7 quickly becomes Hoosick Street in Troy, going up the hill. Just after Troy
Plaza (with the Price Chopper. You *CAN'T* miss it) the next cross street is
15th - take a right. Three lights later on the left is a big rock that says
"Rensselaer" - and behind it is the Union. If you go under the bridge over
the street, you've gone too far. On the street side of the building, top
floor, is a LARGE glass window - that's the Pub, and we're in the Phalanx
Room - right next to it.

From I-90 west of Albany, take I-87 North to Exit 7 (Rte 7 East), then
follow the directions as from the East.
Agenda:
7:15 - 7:30 Quick Introductions of everybody.
7:30 - 8:15 Discuss a short charter, hear poeple's ideas
on what they expect of the LUG and details about
the next meeting.
8:15 - 8:45 What resources do we have available. I would like
to set up a home page for our LUG but no-one can
get through our firewall so it wouldn't be of much
help.
8:45 - x:xx General Linux talk.
