The RECDB record collection software (and associated tools) now has
a home on WWW at the JazzWeb:

	http://www.acns.nwu.edu/WNUR/jazz/recdb/RECDB.html

For best results use netscape. You can also access an "experimental"
recdb server via a forms-based browser. The server current has a
database of over 4000 (and growing) records (including duplicates :(
-- we're working on that) against which you can run queries.

For those unaware of RECDB here's a blurb from the web page:

RECDB is a suite of programs that catalogue and cross-reference a
database of record albums (i.e. LPs, CDs, cassettes and most other
formats) -- in other words help you the fanatical record collector
manage your musical assets. It was developed for UNIX; however,
efforts are being made to port it to other platforms. At present the
suite contains:

    o recdb - a browser.
    o tkrecdb - a graphical front-end to recdb written in Tcl/Tk.
    o printdb - a print formatter.
o psprintdb - a PostScript formatter for the output of printdb.
o sortdb - merges records into an existing database.
    o enterdb - a text-based (curses) data-entry program.
o statsdb - prints various statistics on a database.

Under development are:
    o Porting RECDB to DOS.
    o tkenterdb - a graphical front-end to enterdb written in Tcl/Tk.

RECDB is freeware; however please read the copyright notice in the
documentation accompanying the software.

The author and I can be contacted via the web page. Feel free to
contact us.
