This is an announce for the 5th official version of MD, a device
driver that groups several hard disks or partitions into a single block
device, so it is now possible to have files that grow across devices. It
currently supports a linear mode, RAID-0 (striping) as well as RAID-1
(striping + mirroring). Please note that, although linear and RAID-0 mode
have now moved to BETA, RAID-1 is still VERY ALPHA.

What's new since v0.26 :
This is only a bug-fix release. People using a raid[01] devices on
md[1-3] may have problems, since previous versions were really brain-dead
regarding chunks size... For some rather funny reasons, md0 was the only
safe device. So, backup your data on md[1-3] before using 0.26b and don't
use previous versions anymore, since this is a major bug that was living
here since at least v0.17 ! Since patch is now against 1.3.1, it needs some
fixes to work with 1.2.X .

Thanks to:
All the fine people that sent me bug reports, success stories and
docs, everybody at P7 for friendship, disks, net access and Guiness (Is
Grorus the spice of life... or a waste of time ?)
