Filling the void in UNIX where standard operating system commands come up
short in mission-critical business computing needs.

Minneapolis, Minn., June 12, 1995 - SuperSolutions Corp. (SSC) announced
product releases designed to satisfy selected needs of companies who are
moving mission-critical applications to the UNIX platform. These products
provide point solutions to satisfy significant job scheduling and spooling
functionality that mainframe system administrators and programmers
are accustomed to having for use.

Product Highlights

This functionality is required to provide a suitable business computing
environment hosted on UNIX platforms. The following list highlights the
major features found in SuperScheduler.

* Graphical user interface

* No KERNEL modifications are required

* Client/Server scheduling and monitoring on networked hosts

* Complex job schedules

* Job chaining

* Event-based execution

* Statistical reports and graphs

* Host control for job scheduling

* Online monitoring and performance statistics of hosts

* Machine load balancing on all networked hosts

SuperSpooler

SuperSpooler is a set of programs that allow system administrators to set
up queues to run commands. These queues can contain any number of programs
to run. The window size(number of programs being fed from the queue
simultaneously) can be adjusted to your site-specific needs. The queues
can contain many small jobs, large jobs or any mixture of both.

These jobs can contain any network commands available to the local system
to execute on remote systems. This assists the system administrators and
programmers in achieving a good network load balance of compute intensive
activities.

In the event of a system crash, jobs will be restarted from where the
queue
left off before the system went down. Queues can be started, stopped,
suspended, created and deleted. Users can only submit jobs to queues and
check the status of queues that they have access to.

SuperSpooler is available for all major UNIX platforms. Platforms include:

*   Solaris 2.3         *   SunOS 4.1.x
*   HP 7xx/8xx          *   AIX 3.2.5
*   OSF1 V3.2           *   IRIX 5.3
*   Linux 1.2.8         *   Linux 0.99
*   DC OSx 1.1          *   SCO ODT 4.2
*   Unisys 6K           *   UnixWare 2.0
*   Sequent 4.0         *   Sequent 2.1

Non-Unix platforms to include Windows NT 3.5,
OS/2 Warp, and Netware 4.1.

Command line interface is supported for access from remote sites.
