if have succsefully ported textedit 15.50 to linux, the package is available
at
ftp://ftp.mpi-sb.mpg.de/pub/linux/mpi-sb/misc/textedit.tar.gz
Includes source and binary.
The program texedit is quickly discribed. Textedit is a very easy to use
X11-based Editor, wich needs the xview libs to run.
Main features are the usual edit functions like cut, copy, paste, find,
replace ... It can easily include external files in a text. It is quite
a nice program for beginners who are afraid of vi or emacs. Another
advatage of this program is that it is very tiny, a matter that might
be of intresst for those who dont have much diskspace.
