Lars,
I honestly think that the existing mailing lists we have now are not the
proper forum for 'help wanted' advertisements.
The lists we have are subscribed to because the readership has a focus on
the particular topic or topics. It's good that Linux continues to grow
to (and beyond !) the point that job offers for people with Linux
expertise are beginning to appear, but I believe we should also maintain
what I think is the basic tenet of the 'announce' list(s), and that is to
announce new developments, packages, and software related to Linux.
I suppose that one solution would be to start another list for the
specific purpose of advertising / looking for employment opportunities.
Maybe linux-jobs@vger.rutgers.edu ??????
