Today I saw everything around me, but that was not reciprocated by my envir=
onment. The people, and the things, were oblivious to me. The laws of physi=
cs and gravity ignored me, and even matter decided not to give me any atten=
tion. So naturally, I thought I was dead. Of course, I was, or am still jus=
t a human, all I did was fall asleep really. Funny thing is that when ?I wo=
ke up?, I woke up- out of my body? Not to sound wacky or delirious, and you=
gotta believe me! I mean? goodness, I sometimes just get carried away. Who=
am I kidding? This is me, speaking to me, in a voice nothing else can comp=
rehend. So anyways?. I woke up, and I was staring at myself sleeping- and c=
an I just say how beautiful and peaceful I looked? That was me being sarcas=
tic. I thought that if I ?write? it down like this, maybe I would rewrite i=
t into my memory, but gosh. I look like a rat with long whiskers, one arm t=
hat once twitched into the wrong spot and stayed there, bum raised, neck lo=
oks painful, and oh- let me not start on the amount of drool soaking my bea=
utiful pillow. That is besides the point of course. Anyways, It's been not =
a day for me, because I needn't eat, nor drink, nor sleep. That is what mar=
ks my day, but it none of it happened, not to mention, I see nothing when I=
look at watches or time. They are bank. However, I do see the sun sink and=
pop out the other side. I watch the stars zooming. The last bite of my san=
dwich left on my desk turned into colours I shouldn't be allowed to see, an=
d my nails grew more than I ever let them with my constant biting.=20
I am not a genius by any measures, but I do know that it's been more than a=
day, and there is no need to deny that. Day in and day out, I roam around,=
floating and pretending I'm a ghost from a cartoon series I watched as a k=
id. I would float on top of the roof of the highrise building I live in in =
the bustling city, and lay there at whatever height I deem. I try to stay n=
ear some sort of surface, to feel more human...? But I am one of course, it=
?s just- to give me some sense of familiarity. You know this is the first t=
ime I say my diary out loud as the ?half? existing me? Gosh I do sound self=
deprecating with the whole ?half? thing. I'm not depressed or anything, ju=
st the solid part of me isn't there, and I can't even see me in mirrors, no=
proof I exist, you can call me one confused person. I mean I know I'm some=
what there, when I look down at my hands, I'm slightly transparent. Oh, I?l=
l roll with the punches. I'll float, waiting for me to wake up I guess. Hop=
efully I will wake up before I die, or before I'm 65, because I would love =
to retire with money, and not as much back pain as years of my sleeping pos=
itions would give me. Speaking of which, I would give up almost anything to=
be solid just to move myself around; at least then, if a dashing FBI agent=
comes when my neighbours smell me rotting (that?s if I rot before I die, I=
'm not sure if that works), but at least I will seem to have once been some=
what decent. Holy moly? Do I..Do I have to stay near me? I mean I?ve always=
stayed near my body in hopes I get sucked back into it, I do not know but =
I have not tried to move further...but.. focus focus? This is a diary. Wait=
, I guess I can narrate my life as a diary. A lunatic thing that would be i=
f people can hear me. So, I don't need to pee or sleep or eat, and I can fl=
oat? Well then, might as well find the Bahamas. First I have to find a map =
and memorize it, then I can float in the direction. Pshhh! Easy peasy.=20
So, this is me, reporting to me, I am down the building. I'll find some old=
looking place, Or someone's open phone which will be conveniently opened o=
n the map of the world. Unlikely, they are probably zoomed into the 2 meter=
s they see in front of them, trying to see if they are facing left or right=
I swear! People these days. Wow, I always wanted to say that. Ok this is =
sounding stupid, I?ll check in in a couple of days. ---------
Hi Diary, it?s been 3 days, and even though I don?t need to say this again =
in order to remember it, I need something to fill my time and void, and may=
be these words floating out of me will suffice, if only temporarily.=20
So picking up where we left off- I got distracted by an old couple with the=
ir cats entering a library, and found myself following them. Next thing I k=
now, there on the wall, a large map stared at me, and I gwaked back. Of cou=
rse, I did not become genius enough to find a history class or library to l=
ook for a map, but sometimes mistakes are your greatest guiding hand in lea=
rning about yourself. I looked at it, and the mark that says 'you?re here'.=
I floated up into the sky, higher than I have before, and I got scared I w=
ould need oxygen among the birds, but I was fine. Then, I journeyed. At tha=
t point, I was piped. I mean, you couldn?t find a person in the world who l=
aughed harder than me up there. I was completely mesmerized by the fact tha=
t I got to go on a trip for free, and spend time in a hotel with no fees (o=
ne that people forgot the tv on, hopefully their choice is better than my n=
eighbours- no wonder I never got along with them). Maybe I would pretend to=
be a part of a family vacation. Who cares, I was going, for free, while be=
ing in bed all day at the same time. Like c?mon, sounded like a gift from h=
eaven. Till it wasn't, because the farther I went, the heavier my hands fel=
t. So I went lower in latitude, but that did not do the trick. So I pretend=
ed to rest, but felt nothing. I would spend hours out on the sun, I would t=
ry to lay down. Nothing. The closer I came to my destination, the more I fe=
lt like I was suffocating, which is ridiculous since I didn't need air, sin=
ce air didn?t feel me, being matter and all.=20
I felt like I was deteriorating- not that close to where I wanted to go, bu=
t definitely farther from home than I've ever been. Then it hit me, I could=
n't be far from me. I can't be far from my ?home?, my capsule, whatever thi=
s was. I was not allowed to go in it, but I also couldn't be far. I was jus=
t there...in an awkward place.. within a blurred radius. I journeyed, found=
my way back, and I stared back at my body, charged because I've been gaini=
ng strength the closer I got to my physical body. I was angry at first, wit=
h me fainting or whatever this is, but then I noticed, this life is not too=
bad. I can follow people around and check up on them. I can keep this diar=
y, I can watch sunsets and rises, and I live in a city with so much so clos=
e to me. It is not great to not be able to eat, or be loved, but at least I=
can see the world around me from so many angles. I am blessed, am?t I?? An=
d so, I convinced myself yes, and it worked.-->=20

more than excited. This was THE trip of the year for them. Kay and Te=
s are young adult girls who were best friends since high school. They have =
slightly different characters and that's what made them a strong duo. But w=
hat units them the most was their passion for social media. They are influe=
ncing bloggers or as we call today Vloggers. Indeed, they established wonde=
rful pages on several platforms with different pictures and videos showing =
their daily activities.</span></p>=20

<p><span style=3D"color: #ffffff;">And this event in particular was a bit=
special. Lego Meritus is a natural reserve in the deep South West of the c=
ountry. It was a hidden touristic gem where it is said that you will have a=
n experience of a lifetime and may be able to witness one of the best panor=
amic view ever. Nevertheless, it is still not a mainstream sight due to sev=
eral points: </span></p>=20
<p><span style=3D"color: #ffffff;">First, its geographical location, whic=
h was approx. one and a half hour by car from the nearest village : St Alti=
us, which was also 35 minutes from any train or bus station. In addition, t=
he reserve was open only during spring and summer to avoid any weather disa=
ster. </span></p>=20
<p><span style=3D"color: #ffffff;">On a separate note it is an approximat=
e 10 km hiking trail, so this was not the ideal destination for all kinds o=
f tourists. </span></p>=20
<p><span style=3D"color: #ffffff;">One strange thing was that despite bei=
ng a free entrance reserve, you needed to register your name in advance, an=
d you were allowed to enter only once per year. These limited information a=
nd odd instructions made things even better for the two adventure seekers.&=

<p><span style=3D"color: #ffffff;">Kay and Tes were looking forward to th=
is day for more than two months. They left their hometown three days ago, a=
nd had an interesting journey to St. Altius, the nearest village to the res=
erve. Not going through much more details, Kay and Tes made it to the reser=
ve entrance. The scenery was already breathtaking: Tall and colorful trees,=
cool wind, uncountable types of flowers. The quiet noise of nature was not=
disturbed by the Human Empire. Tes was dazzled. She already made a couple =
of pictures and small videos: ?Oh my! I will change all my profile pictures=
today! My stories will be packed! ?. Love your brother Kay! He is the best=
internet surfer ever! He always finds us interesting suff to do!? </s=

d not a strong notoriety. In fact, there was a maximum of a couple dozen pe=
ople there. Well, win-win situation for both girls, their posts will be eve=
n better without the high traffic of tourists making unintentional ?photobo=
mbs?: ?This will be awesome? Kay said, ?I can't wait to go inside! Save som=

ey reached the entrance counter. There was only an electronic tablet with a=
checklist on it. Eventually, the girls clocked on their names, entered the=
pin they got as message on their mobile phones, and were let in. A start s=
ign on the floor at the beginning of the walking path indicated the beginni=
ng of the hiking trail. Next to it was a big signboard entitled: ?Give thes=
e instructions 3 minutes of your time and enjoy nature!? Here were the inst=
ructions:</span></p>=20

reserve. The trail you are about to enter is approximately 9.5 km long with=

eep into the reserve and ends back on the east exit, just on the other side=

It's a smaller, flat bottomed metal boat. I remember hearing about this bo=
at and some of the many days spent fishing in it. I was so happy to find th=
e long since forgotten treasure I just giggled with excitement. There was s=
o much built up clutter piled around that I had to push aside to get to it.=

les before noon. I was pretty proud of myself for putting so many miles in.=
I took shelter near an out cropping of a cliff close to were I had been la=
nded and decided to hunker down underneath its shelter for lunch.</span></p=

a moment to stand still and listen. I didn't hear or see anything, so cont=
inued on. I got back to my little boat and untied the rope. As I pushed off=

didn't spot anything, so began my float further down the river. I floated 2=
miles and that's when the ripples and fast moving sections started. I grab=
bed both paddles and began to paddle in the opposite way of the visible roc=

e barely missed it." I swear I could hear my Daddy whispering to me &q=
