Approved: linux-announce@tc.cornell.edu (Lars Wirzenius) Followup-to: comp.os.linux.misc Net-Tools-1.1.93 is now on ftp.linux.org.uk in "pub/misc/Linux/Networking/PROGRAMS/NetTools" This includes the new ipfw program and because the new ipfw code isn't yet in the released 1.1.x kernels a mandatory patch to the 1.1.93 kernel which installs the newer (and pretty much bug free) IP firewalling code, along with support for interface specific firewalls (supporting the firewalling setups recommended by CERT in the advisory on IP spoofing). Other features include the very beginnings of multi protocol awareness, although this needs much work yet. Binaries are included ready to install and these are built with every protocol enabled.
