If you are interested in running a MUD on your linux system, you
may want to try out Mordor. It is freely available at darwin.bio.uci.edu
(128.288.76.42) as /pub/work/Mordor_2.0.tgz.
This package includes:
o a MUD server and a MUD client
o 220 rooms
o 400 monsters and items
o an offline editor to create your own rooms, monsters and items
o online DM commands for creation and maintenence
o a full set of documentation on how to run this system
