I've created binaries for the UPS debugger, and they're now on sunsite
in /pub/Linux/devel/debuggers as ups-2.45.2-bin.tar.gz. They need
X11R6 (i.e. XFree86 3.1.x) to work.
For those who don't know, UPS is a debugger with a fully graphical
interface. It's not a shell built around gdb, but a full debugger so
it doesn't feel as kludgy as xxgdb does.
The lsm follows.
