I've uploaded version 1.3 of my driver for the GS4500
hand scanner to sunsite.unc.edu and ftp.ibr.cs.tu-bs.de.
The filename is gs4500-1.3.tar.gz.
The new version is adapted to newer kernels and checks
at startup if it can be used als loadable module or if
it has to be compiled into the kernel.
The driver should also work wis GS4000 and GS4500A scanners.
Somebody please try and tell me how it worked.
