Cdwrite 2.0 has been released. This version of cdwrite offers:
o Support for Yamaha and HP Surestore drives
o A revamped command line interface
o General bug fixes (compiles with -Wall -ansi -pedantic
without warnings...)
This version of cdwrite does *not* offer:
o Sony support
o multisession or CD/XA (interlaced) support
The former is due to a lack of specs & equipment (or skilled
volunteers with equipment) to debug. The latter is hard to do without
access to a writer, as I currently do not have, myself. (If any
manufacturer/vendor is interested in sponsoring cdwrite development,
please let me know!)
Special thanks to Leonard Zubkoff for Yamaha support, Eric Smith for
most of the HP support, and to HP who made their specs available on
the Web. An example for other manufacturers to follow!
