Phew !! Between exam study I've finally managed to document this little
device. Basically, lcdtime is the software to drive an "intelligent" Liquid
Crystal Display connected to the parallel port. The circuit for the LCD device
is built upon previous LED status displays. As a result, the software used
with these LED displays can still be used with lcdtime (with small changes).

Currently there is a patch for meter-0.2 to enable it to be used with lcdtime.
Expect more patches for other LED display software after my exams :-).

Finally, the Linux Software Map entry below should tell you where lcdtime
can be found (eventually) - it's still probably in /pub/Linux/Incoming on
Sunsite until it can be moved to /pub/Linux/system/Status

The latest updates will also be available at:
   http://www.cs.mu.oz.au/~blt/status-display/lcdtime.html

Have fun,
Ben
