    ***** ANNOUNCEMENT! ***** ANNOUNCEMENT! *****

THE October Edition of the Linux Gazette is now up!

Articles in this month's LG include:

   1. MailBag of reader's ideas, suggestions, tips, and URL's
   2. Lots more 2 cent tips...
   3. Indepth Guide to Installation of XF-Mail and XMailBox!
   4. Guide to configuration of XF-Mail and XMailBox
   5. FVWM: an introduction to Styles
   6. Colophon

A lot of happened since the last edition of the LG went up:

The Linux Gazette is now a member of the Linux Documentation
    Project! Yup, we're a card-carrying member now :-)

Also, the Gazette is now hosted at TWO web sites! You can now
find it at:

     http://www.tenn.com/fiskhtml/gazette_toc.html

     http://www.redhat.com/lg/gazette_toc.html

My sincerest thanks to the gracious folks at Red Hat Commercial
Linux who have offered to become a second host!

Finally, please be forewarned that this month's LG is HUGE. It's
around 132K and so PLEASE be patient. Both web servers are quite
busy. Keep trying :-) Future editions will NOT be this large, but
I'm afraid I don't have the time at present to split this up.

Thanks for being patient.

Also, I'm working on getting the LG out as an ftp'able source...
check out this month's LG for details. Please send any corrections,
suggestions, and ideas ASAP. After running ispell for 30 minutes on
this thing I finally gave up... you'll have to tell me where my lousy
spelling went awry... :-) Also, PLEASE let me know of any bad links
or other problems as I want to get these corrected before putting out
a "final" edition for ftp. Thanks, and as always...

Enjoy!
