ANNOUNCEMENT:
The 1st meeting of the Milwaukee Area Linux Users Group (LUG) will be held
on November 2, 1995 at the Tasting Room Pub on Milwaukee's East Side.
TIME: 8:00 PM
This will be our first meeting. All skill levels are encouraged to attend.
MISSION:
* Provide local support for Milwaukee Area Linux users
* Foster a better understanding on the Linux (UN*X) OS
* Share your knowledge, understanding, and tips with other Linux users
* Learn to be a more efficient user of the Linux OS
* Establish contacts within the field
* Friendship
This will be an organizational meeting. Please bring your thoughts and
and ideas as to what you would like the group to be. We are tentatively
planning on meeting once a month.
DIRECTIONS TO THE TASTING ROOM PUB:
I-94 to North Ave. East On North to Humbolt Ave. Right on Humbolt.
Go down hill and over bridge. Tasting Room is at the bottom of the hill
on the left side.
