Hello *,
After maintaining the BogoMips mini-Howto for quite some
time, I now want to do something more actively for it.
At present the mini-Howto includes complete information for
the 386/486/Pentium CPUs, with over 300 entries. The Alpha
CPU is also reasonably covered, but could do with a little
more substance. Most notably lacking from the mini-Howto is
coverage of the CPUs of Motorola, Sparc, PowerPC, and MIPS.
Thus the REQUEST: Would you please send me your Linux boot
BogoMips data for the Motorola, Sparc, Powerpc, MIPS, and
Alpha CPUs. Please include fullest information about the
used processor, among which brand, type, and clock speed.
E.g. 'MIPS R4400, 134 MHz, 256 kB cache, 67.10 BogoMips.'
Or shorter 'Alpha 21066A/233 1024c 230.76 BogoMips.'
For more details about BogoMips, be referred to the BogoMips
mini-Howto, on the archives in .../docs/HOWTO/mini/BogoMips.
Much thanks in advance.
Met vriendelijke groeten, Wim van Dorst
