IRC has long been a valuable source of real-time Linux help and info. And
now that resource has just become much more valuable.

A new irc network, DALnet, has been formed. This irc network sports many
advantages over EFnet, the traditional IRC network and has been in
existance for well over a year.

Check out:

http://www.dal.net

for a list of these advantages. These modifications create an environment
with much less noise and politics and more suitable to conversation about
out favorite OS. Although DALnet is a general IRC network, there is a
#linux channel where users can discuss Linux and and new users can get
help with their problems. Why make the same mistakes others have over and
over again? Once you've RTFM'd and still can't solve your problem, what
are you going to do? Ask a human being.
