NEW YORK, Sept. 19, 1995 -- NCD Software Corporation, a wholly owned
subsidiary of Network Computing Devices, Inc., (NASDAQ:NCDI) announced that its
Z-Mail for UNIX software package has been selected as the electronic mail
application in the new Network Desktop Bundle from Caldera, Inc. Announced
today at the UNIX Expo tradeshow in New York, Caldera's new Network Desktop
Bundle will offer Linux users leading UNIX applications and is priced under
US$500.00.
Z-Mail is an enterprise e-mail platform based on Internet protocols for
high scalability and reliability. Z-Mail is designed for e-mail administrators
in large organizations, and includes complete cross-platform communication (for
Windows PCs, Macintosh computers, UNIX computers and character terminals),
standards-based interoperability, efficient message management, flexible
configuration, easy administration and low cost of ownership.
