The September meeting of Washington DC Linux user group will take place
on Wednesday, September 27, 1995, at 7pm, at the Lippsett auditorium
at NIH (see directions below).
This month we have a very exciting presentation: Nicholas Wells, VP,
Caldera, Inc. will talk about their Caldera Network Desktop, and about
Caldera's plans to bring Linux to the masses.
For those unfamiliar with the name, Caldera (a Novell spin-off
company), is preparing to release their own edition of Linux, enhanced
by Novell LAN connectivity tools, friendly user configuration
environment, Wordperfect port to Linux and a robust MS Windows
emulation environment.
