Subject: Linux Showcase at Comdex Booths available, volunteers needed

Linux Vendors! only 4 spaces left,
Linux Pavilion & Showcase, Fall Comdex
First come, First Serve.

After nogotiation with Linux International,
Softbank (the owner of Comdex) will be creating a Linux Vendor
Showcase at COMDEX/FALL95. The show will run November 13-17, 1995
in Las Vegas, Nevada. The Linux Showcase will be promoted
in the show preview, show guide, show daily and other materials
on a par with the Multimedia, Windows, Internet, Networking and
other showcases. Each booth will get it's own listing in the
show guide in addition to the listing of the entire pavilion.
You will be on equal footing with any competitor that might be
there, as none will receive preference over another, beyond the
first come first serve booth assignments.

Hundreds of thousands of people are going to look at the PR and
show materials, and think "What's Linux? If it deserves a Technology
Showcase, I'd better go find out!" This is the biggest computer show
in North America with approximately 200,000 attendees.

What's more, the Linux Showcase will in the Las Vegas Hilton
convention hall in booth H442, directly together with the Internet
Showcase, and will benefit from that traffic as well!

Booth space is $43 per square foot, and can be taken in 8x12.5
chunks ($4300). You will be placed together with Linux International
and other Linux vendors in the Las Vegas Hilton Convention center,
adjacent to the main convention center, with longer hours than the
main convention center, and directly in the line of foot traffic
between parking and the main convention center! Exposure for your
Linux product doesn't get much better than this, and you should not
have to do any further promotion, so the price of the booth is it at
a normally much more expensive show.

If you sell Linux, or Linux compatible products, you'd be crazy
to pass up this opportunity!

Call Peter Bowes at Softbank, 617-449-6600, Fax 617-444-3322
to reserve your booth space today. Please also email shows@wgs.com
that you have done it, as he is coordinating the this project of LI.

=======

Volunteers are still needed for the Linux International booth. The task

This also will be at COMDEX/FALL95. The show will run November 13-17, 1995
