CAIRO  A Cairo court says it has acquitted a cameraman for 
the Qatar-based network Al-Jazeera, after he was held for months on charges 
of committing acts of violence.Mohamed Badr, a cameraman for Al-Jazeera's 
channel in Egypt, was arrested following clashes in July. The court said 
in a statement Sunday that a judge acquitted him and 62 others.Badr's 
acquittal comes amid a wider crackdown on the Muslim Brotherhood, after 
the military's ouster of Islamist President Mohammed Morsi on July 3. Al-Jazeera 
journalists have been targeted for their coverage of Brotherhood protesters. 
Authorities have long depicted the network as pro-Brotherhood.On Wednesday, 
Egypt said 20 journalists, including four foreigners working for Al-Jazeera, 
will face trial on charges of joining or aiding a terrorist group 
and endangering national security.

they were still seeking a man who fatally shot one 20-year-old Michigan 
State University student and wounded another 20-year-old Friday night.Dominique 
Nolff, of Middleville, was pronounced dead Saturday morning, about 12 hours 
after he and his roommate were shot. The roommate, whose name wasn't 
disclosed, was treated at a hospital and released.Police described the suspect 
as a 20- to 25-year-old man who was wearing tan pants, a 
black coat and black shoes or boots."Our thoughts and prayers are with 
the Nolff family and friends," Michigan State spokesman Kent Cassella said 
in a statement. He said the university would assist East Lansing police 
as needed.
 BIG RAPIDS, Mich.  Police have arrested a man at Ferris State 
University in the shooting of a student at an off-campus apartment complex 
near the western Michigan school.The university is in Big Rapids, about 
50 miles north of Grand Rapids. Officials canceled classes, basketball games 
and other sporting events after the shooting, which occurred at 4:15 a.m. 
Saturday at the Venlo Place apartments.Ferris State spokeswoman Sandy Gholston 
said Sunday that police arrested the man late Saturday at Finch Court 
apartments on campus. She isn't identifying him or saying if he's a 
student. She says charges are expected by Tuesday.Gholston says police also 
are questioning a woman.The victim was transferred to a Grand Rapids hospital. 
His wounds aren't believed to be life-threatening. His name wasn't released.
