X VERSION, RELEASE, and PATCH LEVEL:
[i.e., X Version 11, Release 4, Patch Level 18]
(??)
CLIENT MACHINE and OPERATING SYSTEM:
Sun Sparcstation Classic (??)
NEWS SYSTEM and VERSION:
[e.g., Cnews, Bnews, InterNet News, ...]
(??)
SYNOPSIS: The KILL file sucks. Can't get pattern matching to work
as with non x based newsreaders.
DESCRIPTION: I have a FAQ for creating normal KILL files but
the xrn does not apparently use or recognize the same syntax.
Is there a way to change this? Is there an XRN KILLfile FAQ
that I missed somewhere? Why does the transistion to X have
to sacrifice the most useful feature of newsreading?
REPEAT BY: I have found this on pretty much any maching using Xrn.
I do not know what newsserver I am using. I don't recall ever
setting it,
